It would be a much more disciplined approach. I’d like to think Musk was doing the same but I see no evidence of that.

Meh, tear it down. Tear it all down. Then rebuild it. The largest job growth over the last few years? Federal Government. Highest median wages? Federal Government. Best benefits and job security (before November)? Federal Government.

I was surprised that the funeral was only yesterday. I thought they buried the bastard within a day or two of his demise.

So we can thank the uncompromising self-righteousness of the western left for the corner it's painted itself into. Yes, you don't have to look too hard to find leftists proudly saying that they're content to die on the right side of history, rather than win political games in the near term. So, I say, let them die on the side of their delusional version of what history will actually be. Win/win.

I think it will probably get an Oscar, but not best picture. There were some great performances and creative filmmaking but overall it just devolved into a gangster flick.

@Renauda said in Hockey: We won in overtime. Our boy, Connor McDavid made it 3 : 2. First, he is your boy by about 25 miles. Lucky his parents didn't drive the other direction when the mom was in labo(u)r. Second, their parents really missed an opportunity by not naming him David.

@Copper yeah the bald dude on the left. Also a quick tip, usually if you see someone in this area with two cell phones stacked on top of each other (on their table), it's usually a DOJ or related job. He also had a folder with "Homeland Security" on it, and was drinking water when everyone else had a beer.

@xenon Intrepid that you should mention the paradox of it all. The past several days I have been reluctant to mention it as I convinced it was just me who was struggling with the concept.

There have been several marches here today as well as vigils in the Ukrainian Catholic and Ukrainian Orthodox Churches around town. I think there were vigils as well at the two Polish Catholic Churches in town. Ukrainian flags everywhere.

Speaking if SF10’s. Between what years was this model considered at its best?

@Horace said in It’s Friday night!: @Tom-K said in It’s Friday night!: @Horace said in It’s Friday night!: This sunday night I had steelhead fillets. I'm just about to have orange roughy which is a SLIMEHEAD!(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slimehead) Slimeheads, also known as roughies and redfish, are mostly small, exceptionally long-lived, So it lived through a couple world wars, only to expire at the end of your fork. Sad. Only for the fish.

They opened one 7 minutes away about a year ago. Just got back from there. Bought a raspberry bush, a welcome mat, some soil and fertilizer, and sponges. As one does.

@Rich said in Cheating the hangman.: I don't understand what the hold up was to begin with. He was convicted to beating and scalding to death a 6 year old. Also have trouble how anyone could be in a photograph with the shit head; smiling like she's at at a night out with the besties. Some women... https://x.com/TaraBull808/status/1893023117402087897

Cost of install at point of manufacture is probably pretty reasonable, done well, and adds a nice feature that will hopefully resonate with modern piano buyers. Crossing my fingers they've worked to make it as open ended as possible. A lot of this proprietary nonsense piano makers have come up with is counter-productive to the industry long-term. (imho) There's a reason MIDI standard remained relevant for so long...even as "HD MIDI" languages with thousands vs 127 levels of expression have been around for so long.
